Current Exhibit

  • It's the annual Lake City Photography Art Exhibit - Opening reception is Sunday, April 19th from 1:30 to 4:00 and the exhibit runs through Sunday, May 30th - Give the photographers your feedback by voting for your favorite photo and share your suggestions for next year's Photography Club exhibit theme.

  • Sunday, Aug 9th - Opening Reception, 1:30-4:00 TBA

  • Friday Sep 19th - Members/Invitation Only - Masters through the Ages. This is a visiting exhibit for 4 days only with works by Picasso, Rembrandt and More.

  • Sunday Sep 27th - Opening Reception, 1:30-4:00 Textile Showcase

  • Sunday Nov 15th - Festivus and Annual Wreath Auction

OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS - 2026
Entry Deadline: April 1st, 2026
Eligibility: Artists who generate new works and claim creative authorship. Priority will be given to artists from Minnesota and Western Wisconsin who have not previously held an exhibit in Lake City, however, all artists nationwide are welcome to apply and will be considered for future exhibits.
Entry Fee: None

Lake City Area Arts provides an opportunity for artists to display and share their high-quality works with the greater Lake City area. Our Facility is wheelchair accessible.

Please visit our Community Art Exchange Box, located on the sidewalk just outside the LCAA Gallery at 105 W. Center Street. The box provides free, small format art and art supplies to anyone interested in exploring their artistic side...even when the Gallery isn’t open!
