August 6th (Wednesday) 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Monthly Storytellers Meeting. Tom Driscoll from Shipwreckt Publishing in Winona will be the guest speaker on Wednesday 8/6/25 at 3PM. Tom is a writer, artist, editor and publisher and heart transplant recipient. He is a very entertaining storyteller. He will share his literary history as well as his next great project.
August 8th (Friday) evening. Live Music at Ohuta - Prairie Street Jazz. The LCAA is helping promote a live concert at Ohuta park by Prairie Street Jazz led by Eric Staschek. More info to come.

Regularly scheduled events
Tuesday, 10 am-noon - Open Studio Hours during the Music Circle*
The Community Choir will be taking June and July off. Choir practice will resume on Tuesday, August 5th under the direction of Lisa Wallerich!
Wednesday (the first Wednesday of the month), 3-5 pm., hosted by Sue Kruger - Monthly Storytellers' meeting - members meet to share their recent written works or verbal stories.
Thursdays:
6-8 pm - Music JAM! This is a weekly JAM session led by Andrew Eggenberger and Jeff Bartelt . Bring an instrument, JAM, and learn from your fellow musicians.
6-8 pm - The knitting/crocheting group is on hiatus until the Fall.
Fridays, 10 am-2 pm - Open hours. Stop in and see the current exhibit if you missed the opening reception.
Sundays, 1-4 pm - Open MIC or planned programming - hosts/planners: Jim Rahm, Don Schwartz, and Art Orth
