September 21st (Monday) - 6:30 pm. Card Making as a Reflective Practice - an Anderson Center Resident Artist Presentation by Amir Khadar. Register for this free class (limited to 12 participants) and enjoy an evening of creation and discussion. This class is at the LCAA. See linked poster.
September 26th (Saturday) - Stained Glass Garden Stake Class - instructor Nancy Zimmermann. 8:30 am. - 12:30 pm. Sorry, this class is full and it's the last Garden Stake class for the year. We plan on offering this again in the Spring, so keep checking our webpage and FB posts! Brighten your outdoor space with a beautiful stoned glass garden stake. This is a beginner class…no prior experience necessary. There will be no glass cutting required for this class but you will do foil wrapping as well as soldering. October 3rd (Saturday) - 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Beading Open House - led by Liz Carlstrom Stop in any time with your child during the beading open house and make a necklace, bracelet, or backpack dangle. The class is free, and there is no need to register. This multi-generational class is provided through a grant from Greater Lake City Community Foundation. See linked poster.

This workshop will combine playful introductory exercises, a short guided visualization and an intuitive painting process. Participants will reflect on the question, “What gives me strength?” and create a personal artwork using acrylics inspired by a place, image, or feeling that supports and nourishes them. Every Wednesday - through November - 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Hand drumming class - instructor: Cheri Bunker. Join us the third Wednesday of each month thru November for a fun and energizing one-hour free style hand drumming class for age 16 and older. No experience is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to play! In this freestyle drumming session, you’ll explore simple rhythms, express yourself through sound, and connect with others in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to boost your mood, improve coordination, or simply try something new, this class offers a joyful way to move, create, and be part of a rhythmic community.
