October 15th (Wednesdays) to Nov 5th - 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Drum Circle. Taught by musician, Mike Arturi. 4 Wednesday sessions starting October 15th and running through November 5th. Cost: $40 for members or $45 for nonmembers payable at the first session. Otherwise, $15 per session. We thank the Greater Lake City Foundation for a grant which allows the LCAA to subsidize the cost of this class. More info to come.
November 5th (Wednesday) 3:00 to 7:30 pm - Gingerbread House Decorating - As part of the Shops of Lake City "Christmas by the Lake", the LCAA will be offering free Gingerbread House kits for decorating. If you're interested in joining in the fun by decorating a house to be on display at the LCAA during Christmas by the Lake, we invite you to pick up a kit starting on November 5th at the times listed above. Kits are free, must be picked up by an adult, must be decorated only with edible ingredients, and are due back to the LCAA during November 20th - 23rd.
November 6th (Thursday) Sounds of Nature - ELP Programming - Taught by Kris Pichelman. Because Hok-Si-La is closed for utility work, the Environmental Learning Program will hold the artwork portion of the Sounds of Nature class here, at the LCAA.
